Our mission is to empower individual schools and community organizations by supporting the development of programs in the areas of food justice, education and technology.
Current Projects
Arts Education
With education cutbacks, arts programs have been removed or greatly reduced at schools. Our goal is to bring arts back into the classroom by providing literary, visual and performing arts programs.
California schools are filled with students from around the world who can feel disconnected from their roots.

Many children in California grow up in an urban environment and have little knowledge of where their food comes from or how to grow it. Our four month urban agriculture program is designed to teach children in elementary school about agricultural practices...
Technology
Budget cuts have nearly crippled schools' ability to purchase the items they need to enrich the students' learning experience. Many schools cannot afford to purchase computers for staff and students to use in classrooms. Our program takes the pain out of the budget by recycling computers that most people would not use anymore.
